Facing towards the Indian ocean, The Ritz-Carlton Bali offers a tropical getaway in Nusa Dua. This resort features a beachfront setting complete with an on-site spa and wellness centre, business facilities and outdoor pools. It also offers free WiFi access in all areas of the property and free on-site parking facility.

It takes a 15-minute drive from the property to Bali Collection Shopping Centre and Bali Convention Centre, and about a 30-minute drive to Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. Uluwatu Temple is reachable within a 40-minute drive. Getting to Bali Denpasar International Airport will take around 30 minutes by car. The resort offers airport shuttle service at an additional fee.

Nice resort

We enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and considerate. Would like to thank Mr. Made and all the team.

I think the concept of the hotel is all rooms are facing the gardens not the beach but we didn’t like that. Having a location by the sea and you don’t enjoy the beach view from rooms is a setback. Also the Breeze cafe closes at 10:30 pm which is early in my opinion. Taking in mind the location is far from the city where you have other options.

Really enjoyed the stay and will return with 2 young grandchildren who will certainly love it!

Spacious room and pleasant short walk to great pool, greeted all the way by ever friendly staff: gardeners, buggy drivers, workmen, pool area attendants. Food was wonderful in terms of quality, range, location and atmosphere.

A very good short resort break.

Resort's very private layout offers a great place for a relaxation holiday. Attentive but not intrusive services. Plenty of interesting and enjoyable complimentary daily activities to keep one busy at the resort. The F&B were also excellent.

The bed and pillows were a bit too soft.

The Best Stay in Our Life

Everything was above our expectation. Facilities and properties were huge and very beautiful. Everywhere including our room was so clean and specious. Extremely comfortable stay. Foods were also amazing and we ate a lot. Every details they care, so there was literally nothing to complain. We even keep appreciating everything they have done for us. It was our special occasion in our life, and we were so glad that we decided to stay here since they welcomed us with their best and we felt so much care and love from them. They even gave us some special gifts and memorable times. We will definitely come back to see all people and spend the amazing time again over there. Thank you so much for everything, everyone!!!

ROOM WITH THE DIRECT ACCESS TO POOL.

When we gave up on Hilton Nusa Dua, which was below its reputation as a brand, we looked for something nearby and found this nice hotel. We took a beautiful, huge apartment with direct access to the pool, really great. The hotel's main pool complex is also excellent, the staff is very friendly and they drive you everywhere in buggies, the breakfast is spectacular.

The remark applies to Bali in general, not just this hotel. Although the Ritz Carlton has a beautiful and large beach, almost no one swims on it for a simple reason: the sea is so shallow that you have to walk a kilometer to reach the sea level just below your knees. This is a minus, but the Ritz Carlton makes up for it superbly with a complex of excellent heated swimming pools where you can sip cocktails, enjoy good food from the hotel restaurants and generally relax as expected in Bali. The price of the apartment in the Ritz is not small either, we paid 1000 euros for two nights, but we got exclusivity, the fact that the pool was not crowded, and in general the hotel is worth that money. Another detail I noticed: in the otherwise spectacular suite, the wallpaper behind the bed was unglued, behind both beds, such a quality hotel would have to pay attention to such things.

Absolutely breathtaking views from our room! Just 3 Steps away from our room, we enjoyed access to a beautiful private pool. We were also able to take a short stroll to the beach and dine in with restaurants on property. We would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel was great, the staff was very friendly and available at all time. The Spanish tapas bar serves nice shishas, they offered me a cake with a little note BON VOYAGE which I believe was a thoughtful attention. I ordered room service and it was good!

The rooms are old, I booked the suite with pool access. It is dark out there so I rather went to the infinite pool and the beach of the resort. It is not a good value for money as I paid twice the price of what I paid few days before in some very nice hotels and resorts much more beautiful that this one. I had to change the room in the middle of the evening because I was so upset they did not check the lightning in the swimming pool. It was broken so I couldn’t swim at night. Also, they left the amenities from the previous customers the products were already used. Who does that? I have slept in Ritz before on other countries and this is not how it is supposed to be. I do not usually review the hotels but since this one is supposed to be one of the greatest brand I had to. They offered me a late check out, so I guess they wanted to make it right. Please just refurbish the rooms!

A bad Ritz Carlton but still a good hotel

The staff was very friendly. Excellent service at the pool area and the two poolside restaurants. The breakfast is great! But you need to know that a lot of items can be ordered from staff members in the breakfast area, these items aren't listed anywhere so if you have anything you want, ask the staff and they can probably deliver.

Being a Ritz Carlton hotel I judge them by a higher standard than other 5 star hotels. Thus follows: The rooms aren't the nicest. They show some wear and tear. And one night at around 10 we got stuck outside our room because the door lock broke. it took over 1 hour for them to get service people to our room and open our door. This was after a long day of travel so we wanted nothing more than to go to bed. Compensation for this? Access to their "hydro pool", a relaxation area usually accessible for spa customers. Which frankly, is very underwhelming. We were the only people there and tried it once for 10 minutes. Not good! This is not something that should happen at a resort of this caliber. When checking out we had asked for a buggy to our room (quite a large resort) which took us and our luggage a bit on the way to the lobby and checkout area. But we had to carry our own luggage some way and up an escalator and into the lobby. No help was offered by any of the staff and while we were lucky that we are traveling light, if you have larger bags and/or traveling with kids this can be quite a hassle. Again this is a nitpicky detail but something that should be done staying at a Ritz resort. Comparing this hotel to other larger Ritz Carlton's targeting the same market and in SEA this is by far the worst one.

Staff was nice. The Jr suite was big and comfortable. Water bottles were refillable. The golf carts were always available to take us around the facility.

Splendid New Year Holiday in Bali

The property was huge and the hotel has a long line up for things to do for its guests over the holidays. I loved our room with the pool access. So convenient for our daughters to just dip into the water whenever they feel like so. Also the lush greenery is very relaxing. Allo hotel staff have been consistently helpful from the time that I called them from Manila to say that our flight will be several hours delayed and to expect us in Bali at 4am. Very quickly they assured me that I can still have their car service ready by then. Wonderful holiday overall. Definitely coming back.

The proximity to the beach. Very friendly staff. Beautiful property itself

Comfortable stay

Our room is very comfortable but too bad the pillow is just too soft in my opinion. The resort is very attractive and relax.

1. Lobby and some areas (indoor alley, lifts, restaurants' air conditions were not cool enough). 2. It took more than 10 minutes to get our luggages after check out. We need to wait in the taxi while all bills had been well settled.
